The official Golden Globe Race 2026 tracking dataset, including live and historical GPS positions, timestamps and recorded tracks, is owned by Ocean Frontiers Pty Ltd, a company registered in Australia and organiser of the Golden Globe Race. Copyright, database rights and other applicable rights in this dataset and its compilation are reserved to the extent recognised by law.

Ground Control Technologies UK Ltd, trading as YB Tracking, is a UK-registered company (company number 05240202). It holds and processes the tracking data under agreement with Ocean Frontiers Pty Ltd. Ownership of the race tracking dataset remains with Ocean Frontiers Pty Ltd.

The tracker is made available for viewing the race. Public access does not grant permission or a licence to extract, download, scrape, copy, store, reproduce, redistribute, republish or otherwise reuse the tracking dataset or its contents.

Prior written approval from Ocean Frontiers Pty Ltd is required before using the tracking data in any project, website, application, database, analysis, visualisation or other product. This requirement applies to private and personal projects as well as public, educational, research, non-commercial and commercial uses, except where a use is expressly permitted by applicable law.

Crediting the race or linking to this tracker does not replace the need for permission. Any approval applies only to the purpose and scope expressly agreed in writing.
