{"id":1423,"date":"2018-06-29T23:37:00","date_gmt":"2018-06-29T22:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/europastudio.co.uk\/goldengloberace\/?p=1423"},"modified":"2022-05-31T22:07:29","modified_gmt":"2022-05-31T21:07:29","slug":"race-start-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goldengloberace.com\/fr\/race-start-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"Race Start Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Race Day, July 1st<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les Sables d\u2019Olonne, France<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u00e9sol\u00e9, cet article est seulement disponible en\u00a0Anglais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Departing\u00a0Pontoon Vendee Globe\u00a0for the channel:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>08.30am&nbsp;IMOCA boats (<em>Team Setin, Ant-Arctic-Lab<\/em>) committee boat (<em>La Belle Poule<\/em>)<\/li><li>09:00am Olonnois boats<\/li><li>09:15-09:30am Classic Yachts depart together from both sides of marina (<em>Courtesy fleet<\/em>).<\/li><li>09:30 -9:45am&nbsp;<em>Cap\u2019n Brown, Gipsy Moth, Joshua, Suhaili<\/em><\/li><li>09:45am GGR yachts start to leave the harbour<\/li><li>12:00pm Start of the 2018 Golden Globe Race with live coverage on France 3, L\u2019Equipe TV, TV Vend\u00e9e, T\u00e9b\u00e9sud, T\u00e9b\u00e9o, TVR and in English on the official&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/goldengloberace\/\" target=\"_blank\">GGR Facebook page<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to do and see<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be a parade in the Les Sables d\u2019Olonne channel, starting at 8:35am and finishing in the channel at 11am.&nbsp;<em><strong>GGR skippers will depart in two minute intervals from 09.45am onwards and be visible in the channel shortly after the first departures.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you cannot make the start in France, the start will be broadcast in French and English on the official<\/strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/goldengloberace\/\">GGR Facebook page \/ Live FB<\/a>&nbsp;from 11.30am to 12.30pm (CEST) \u2013 the broadcast will also be on France 3 TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tourist Boat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">50 \u20ac to be on&nbsp;<em>Fromentine<\/em>&nbsp;boat. There are still 120 places as at 29 June \u2013 call&nbsp;<strong>LSO Tourism office<\/strong>&nbsp;at 02 51 96 85 85 dial 1 or buy it at the Tourism Office (same building as Casino and Congress Area promenade Lafarge (remblai)).
