Meet the sailors preparing to take on the world’s most demanding solo challenge at this special Golden Globe Race skipper poster signing session in the Pavilion.
Fans and visitors will have the opportunity to meet the entrants, collect signed posters, take photographs, and chat with the sailors as final preparations continue ahead of the 2026 race start.
Representing a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities, the skippers of the Golden Globe Race 2026 each bring their own unique story and motivation to this extraordinary adventure. The signing session offers a rare chance to meet them up close before they depart on one of the longest and loneliest challenges in sport.
Following the signing, selected skippers will take part in a live Facebook interview session from the Pavilion stage, giving visitors further insight into their preparations, boats, concerns and expectations for the race ahead. You’ll also have the chance to meet GGR Founder, Don McIntyre, and ask any question you like!
